3/19/08 Obama's Message: Whose Cheering?

Obama's eloquent speech was just what his masters need: a Black man down with the folks, connected to Black nationalism 'transcending' a radical vision to unite all under the white supremacist american flag's expanding empire. Movingly he spoke of the effects of national oppression and its ideological engine, racism ... using historical facts to lie about the truth, the source of the horrors, to ensnare people especially Blacks and 'progressive' whites in the deadly trap of capitalist electoral politics, to misdirect them from the only real solution, systemic, revolutionary change.

Was it an accident his grievances and promises omitted particulars of the 'hope' he sells for U.S. imperialism, its genocidal genesis and history up to this moment in Iraq, Palestine, Africa, Central and Latin America? Did he forget the fascist oppression, unjust imprisonment, degradation, deprivation, criminalization and police murder called 'justifiable homicide, the state terror behind the criminal justice system, the systematic elimination of the BPP and others who dared fight for real change? The fascist witchhunt and terror against peoples of color and immigrants, especially Arabs and Muslims? The fascist Patriot Act and its endless spawns enmeshing us in total surveillance, 'intelligence' databases and state propaganda called 'news'? No, Obama did not forget. His message was a calculated effort to divide potential believers from those who dare to know they have nothing left to lose and dare to resist, dare to give their lives rather than crawl on their knees before the oppressor... the 'suspected terrorists' who stand in the way of amerika's dream.

Obama betrays everything the Black liberation and the working class struggles have fought for and stand for ... with the winning charm of the snake oil salesman.

Breaking news:
PROTEST today's decision by the Georgia Supreme Court to let the death sentence stand in the racist frame-up of Troy Anthony Davis which paves the way for the state of Georgia to execute another innocent man. Troy Davis was convicted of the murder of Savannah police officer Mark MacPhail in 1991. No murder weapon was found and no physical evidence linked Davis to the crime. Since his conviction, seven out of nine original witnesses have either recanted or changed their testimony.

Demand the Board of Pardons and Paroles [BPP] commute this unjust death sentence:

"...Because of the Anti-Terrorism Bill, the blatant racism and bias in the U.S. Court System, I remain on death row in spite of a compelling case of my innocence. Finally I have a private law firm trying to help save my life in the court system, but it is like no one wants to admit the system made another grave mistake. Am I to be made an example of to save face? Does anyone care about my family who has been victimized by this death sentence for over 16 years? Does anyone care that my family has the fate of knowing the time and manner by which I may be killed by the state of Georgia?"

3/13/08 Two Bedrock Questions

" The propaganda system allows U.S. leadership to commit crimes without limit, with no suggestion of misbehavior or criminality; in fact, major war criminals like Henry Kissinger appear regularly on TV to comment on the crimes of their derivative butchers. "
Edward S. Herman, political economist, activist and author

One bedrock question to determine friends & enemies: whose freedom & democracy is served by the global war of terror and how?
U.S. Human Rights Report : U.S. State Department annual report on human rights conditions around the world.

digest commentary: The U.S., the world's worst terrorist state issued this psywar propaganda as a pretext for further aggression. All those resisting or interfering with U.S.-Israeli domination are, unsurprisingly, accused of crimes that have been the very marrow and bone of amerikan white supremacist manifest destiny from its genocidal beginning: Syria was added this year, with China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, North Korea.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti, nations subjected to imperialist invasion, mass slaughter, torture, degradation and destruction, under U.S. proxy rule, and U.S. engineered divide -to- conquer 'sectarian warfare' denounced for human rights violations by 'insurgents' and 'extremists' is beyond hypocrisy,
it is psychological terrorism.

Sudan, Kenya and Rwanda, subject to decades of U.S. Israeli domination whose crimes against humanity dwarf its nazi friends, accuse those who rebel and fight against their oppressor as it implements AFRICOM to secure the continent for its fascist the name of 'humanitarian aid'.

In Nepal the Maoist revolutionaries who've led a decades-long heroic battle against U.S. backed terrorists are blamed for death and violence.
In Lebanon too, those resisting U.S.-israeli imperialism are accused.

3/8/8 International Womens Day Messages

The Road to Women's Liberation Runs Through the Anti-Imperialist Struggle!

In honor of the global struggle of women for equality, justice and freedom, everyday should be women's day. The struggle to gender, class and race equality has been a tortuous one, marked by victories and set-backs but consistently moving forward toward the day when women can say at last that we have achieved liberation on all fronts and all aspects of human existence. As a sister organization of GABRIELA Philippines, we abhor the fact that we commemorate International Women's Day at a time when 2,500 US troops are in the Philippines, rampaging through Palawan Island and spying on its oil reserves. We foresee the war and pillage that will accompany the theft of these resources by multinational corporations. We foresee Filipinos and Filipinas bereft of their property and means of livelihood; their environment polluted, their very lives forfeit and their children enslaved. Filipinas will end up, as they have ended up in the last 30 years, as commodity in the international labor and sex markets. All this destruction and suffering in exchange for $35 million in US aid.

We also abhor the incalculable suffering visited upon the women of the Middle East, particularly Iraq, by US imperialism. The unspeakable conditions of war and occupation in Iraq compel the country's women to endure the unendurable: death and carnage, starvation, total disruption of existence, raids, arrests, imprisonment and execution. In the desperation of their situation, some women in Iraq are forced into prostitution as a means of survival. We abhor the fact that there remain men and women unmoved by this situation who continue to collaborate with US imperialism.

3/4/8 Why Resistance is Urgent: Call for International Palestine Tribunals

In, Yousef Abudayyeh wrote:

Please print and forward widely!

Below is a concise and direct declaration that calls for holding international tribunals for those guilty of the successive campaigns
of terror against the Palestinian people. It is unique in that it is the first international public effort to hold guilty Arab regimes,
Palestinians, Israelis, and US officials fully responsible for the ongoing Zionist crimes. By signing this declaration and by passing it
through as much as possible worldwide, where all signatories are sought and welcomed, we will be initiating the first real steps to
holding war tribunals internationally.

This is also a tangible step to returning Palestine to its international position as a flagship for justice and self-determination. We urge you to actively support thi declaration wherever you are, on every continent. Take it to your protests, ask your organization to sign on, engage everyone about who is responsible, and help build a momentum that will go well beyond protests and temporary reactions into sustained efforts and full accountability.

We look forward to forming international tribunal committees soon after.

Please sign and pass it on. Time is critical!

taking place against the Palestinian people, particularly those of the
Gaza Strip, not only as a war crime but also as a crime against
humanity. While we hold the Zionist Israeli government directly
responsible for these murderous campaigns, we also hold guilty Arab
regimes, including the Palestinian Authority and the office of Mahmud
Abbas, as accessory to these crimes in collaboration with the US
administration. Through this declaration, we are taking the first

China is at the center of the U.S. "Prevent the Re-Emergence of a New Rival" doctrine. Why & how the U.S. has China in its crosshairs is the focus of this digest issue.

Amerika's world dominance is doomed. Military might and aggression cannot secure what was fundamentally based upon political - economic hegemony of U.S. capital following imperialist world war 2. The effects of the cynically branded 'war on terrorism' is irreparably deepening the structural crisis of capital that drove the U.S. to this new imperialist world war to expand and secure unrivalled world rule. Faced with defeat, rising capitalist rivalry, profound hatred and undefeatable resistance from all corners of the globe, U.S. fascist 'soft' and 'hard power' state terror fuels unquenchable wildfires.

This bipartisan geostrategic agenda is the actual framework for myriad media-disconnected events in Palestine, Africa, Latin America, Asia and the "homeland". Connecting deliberately disconnected 'dots' reveals the picture essential forr political understanding and action:

2/21/8 "U.S. Struggles to Tutor Iraqis in Rule of Law" Remember Malcolm X

In honor of Malcom X: Truth and Revolutionary Struggle
The U.S. struggle to tutor the world in capitalism's rule of law, its white supremacist 'manifest destiny', for hundreds of years has wrought unimaginable degradation, destruction and death, but more vital for the future, the magnificent courage and resistance of millions, leaders, heritage and hope.
Malcolm X, former Muslim, one of our great revolutionary leaders, was murdered On Feb. 21, 1965, at 39 years old, by U.S. assassins as he was about to address a rally in Harlem, NYC, so fearful were the cowardly oppressors of the political movement his truth inspired.
Malcolm stripped the system bare naked for us. We need to learn from him today. 'They can kill revolutionaries', as BPP Fred Hampton another, great Black leader murdered by the state, said, 'but they can't kill the revolution'.
Will we?

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. I say upon this occasion I do not perceive that because the white man is to have the superior position the negro should be denied everything." -- Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) 16th US President Source: Fourth Debate with Stephen A. [info_onepalestine] Urgent Action Alert--Help Save Dr. Wilkerson's Job
Sunday, February 10, 2008

Last December, Dr. Catherine Wilkerson dealt a blow to local forces of
repression when, after a six-day trial, she was acquitted of the bogus
charges brought against her by the University of Michigan and Washtenaw
County Prosecutor Brian Mackie. She had hoped then to get on with caring for
her patients at the Packard Community Clinic but, if anything, local
Zionists and their minions seem more determined than ever to punish her for
speaking out against the Jewish apartheid state of Israel and its local
backers. The management of the Packard Community Clinic has decided to fire
Dr. Wilkerson and on February 4th they set February 15th as her last day of
work. Below you will find a statement by Dr. Wilkerson explaining more fully
what is happening.

The Committee to Defend Catherine Wilkerson has issued this urgent action
alert because we want to encourage the Governing Board of the Packard
Community Clinic to stop the firing of Dr. Wilkerson and to stop the
harassment of her for engaging in constitutionally-protected free speech
activities on her own time and in her own name. Specifically, we are asking
supporters of Dr. Wilkerson to do two things. First, please contact the
Governing Board as soon as possible. A written letter is considered one of
the most effective forms of advocacy. You can mail one to the address in the
sample letter below and/or send a fax to the Governing Board at (734)
971-8545. You may also leave a phone message at (734) 971-1073 or send an
e-mail to Second, please sign our online petition,
which you can find at petition/keepwilkerson/ . A
press conference and a rally in front of the clinic are being contemplated

"It is not a matter of what is true that counts, but a matter of what is perceived to be true."
Henry Kissinger

Digest commentary:
Control of communications and information -- control of the internet -- is central to the bipartisan U.S. world war for global rule. The U.S. mainstream media is loyally silent on the scope and implications of this fundamental suppression of freedom of information, communication and organizing.
Microsoft's attempted hostile Yahoo takeover certainly represents greater concentration of corporate power and control. But, along with other internet and telecom corps. collaboration with the "war on terrorism", beyond the concentration of capital, it is an emblematic function of the "homeland's" deepening fascist state infrastructure.
