Burbank police made more than a dozen arrests during the week of March 2 through March 8, with charges ranging from DUI and drug possession to domestic battery, stalking, and identity theft, according to public records released by the Burbank Police Department.

All persons named below are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

The week closed with several arrests on the night of Sunday, March 8. At 10:15 p.m., officers arrested Esvin Crescencio Garcia Palma, a Sun Valley resident, at 501 North Lomita Ave. on a disorderly conduct charge. Earlier that day, Joseph Saleem Maleeh was taken into custody at 9:13 a.m. on charges of brandishing a weapon or firearm and making criminal threats. At 11:00 a.m., Aris Mangasarian, a Glendale resident, was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, domestic battery, extortion, and stalking.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. on March 8, officers stopped Noe Benjamin Aguilar Miranda, a Los Angeles resident, at San Fernando Blvd. and Orange Grove Ave. Miranda faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and outstanding warrants. At 12:04 a.m., Nayantara Raine Montanaro was taken into custody at 456 East Magnolia Blvd. on a disorderly conduct charge.

Two DUI arrests rounded out the early morning hours of March 8. Keandre Ashton Murray, a Burbank resident, was arrested at Buena Vista St. and Jeffries Ave. at 3:28 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or drug and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. About 40 minutes later, at 4:05 a.m., Shane Melvin Raiford, identified in records as a dancer and Sherman Oaks resident, was arrested at Verdugo Ave. and Screenland Drive. Raiford faces charges of resisting arrest, driving under the influence, and misdemeanor hit and run.

On Saturday, March 7, Nicholas Monroe Emmanuel Bates was arrested at Buena Vista St. and Winona Ave. at 5:51 a.m. on an identity theft charge. Later that evening, at 7:00 p.m., officers arrested two people at 1351 North Victory Place. Sarah Manae Johnson, a Los Angeles resident, faces charges of false impersonation, possession of methamphetamines, and an outstanding warrant. Donald Patrick Cottrell Jr., a Compton resident, was arrested at the same location at the same time on an identity theft charge.

The log reflects a mix of incidents spread across Burbank neighborhoods, with several arrests concentrated along the San Fernando Boulevard corridor and near the Magnolia Park area. The Verdugo Ave. and Screenland Drive location, close to the Media District, was the site of the early morning DUI and hit-and-run arrest.

The Burbank Police Department publishes arrest logs as public records. Arrests represent suspicion of a crime and do not constitute a finding of guilt. The full log is available on the department’s website.
